The new ATG on EQD, day 1: Idle pony.

Another attempt at Photoshop painting. Colour blending in that program is much harder than SAI, yo.
This is merely the second time I've drawn Lyra, first time painted. She needs more luuuuuv.
Notice how Photoshop itself seems to have changed the anatomy on my ponies?
I also decided to upload mega collosus monstrosity size, so you can see all the flaws by zooming a ton

For once I roughly timed myself, and I apparently spent a bit under 3 hours on this (is this guy really that slow? T_T)

Gross Anatomy

I wonder if you're enjoying
the curvature of her back.
The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
to the peripheral.
The horseshoe crab vertebrae
scuttle to break through skin at your touch;
reach out,
a defining shiver.
I see your hands
around the rounded hills of her shoulders.
Scapulae jutting out with the extremity of the bend,
ungraceful,
like a chicken's wings.
And the bands of these dorsal muscles
stand up like wings,
cast shadows in the dimples of the pelvis that she lifts;
