"Draw a Pony With a Friend / A Pony Hanging Out".
The first thing that popped in my mind was Pinkameena and Madame Le Flour.
I thought it would be a pretty generic and overdone thing to do,
but I love Pinkameena way too much to pass by the opportunity to paint her.
I also partially stuck to that idea because the amount of pony would be just one single pony.
I went back to more unshorn fetlocks for this one, so adorable
I've not been completely satisfied with some of my paintings these days,
so I decided to sit down and be more careful and thoughtful when picking colours for shading and highlighting.
I decided to not rush, and really focus on proper colour choice and blending, and I'm actually very happy with the result.
The colours look less flat compared to what I did yesterday.
Being a pony (Part of the horse family) she has hooves. Even though they are not seen in the show, the bottom of the hooves were visible to give it a more lifelike feature.
I think it fits perfectly, and tops off an already amazing piece.
Like the whole thing, but especially the tail. It practically conveys Pinkie's state of mind all by its lonesome.
I personally think that ponies' hooves are soft - it would explain their ability to hold small objects in them.
but unshorn fetlocks. Oh. My. God! That's some adorable stuff
Also, I found it nice to just add something not too many people seem to add.
I'm still debating wether I'm gonna declare unshorn fetlocks as part of my style from now on. I guess I can do a little of both.
Madame Le Flour is best imaginary friend.
