Once in a while I get an idea that I really like,
and I get the motivation , perseverance and willpower to make it the best painting I possibly can make of it with my current skill set.
I pour hour upon hour into the painting, and in the aftermath I feel content with myself.
This is one of those select few paintings.

This is one of the projects I've spent most time on,
if you start the counter from the moment I got the idea in my head to the finished painting.
In this case it took about two months for the idea to get fully painted.

I thought this would be a pretty adorable subject matter.
Pinkie for once being the eager reader, while Twilight just wants to catch some shut eye.
What makes it more funny is the fact that the lamp doesn't really help out any of the two.
It seems to annoy Twilight the most though

The concept of dark environments, especially when a bright light is added, is still very difficult
to me, so I kinda wanted to practice it. Also, dat drape rendering.
