Hello everybody!

I've been messing around with the idea of setting up a Patreon recently. For those who do not know what Patreon is, it's basically a site for supporting us creative artists. You can pledge any amount you want each month, and you get some cool perks in return. I've put in a bunch of work over the last week, and it's finally online and active! Layered PSDs and super high res versions of my images are a couple of the rewards you can pick up. If you're interested, or just want to know a bit more, you can check out my Patreon page at:

I appreciate all the support I get from you guys. It means a lot to me, and by getting some extra support I'm able to create even more cool stuff for you!

Cheers,
Raedrob

New Website!

1 min read
Hey,
recently I've been putting a lot of work into making myself a proper website to showcase my art.
It's something I've thought about doing for the longest time, but it has always been put on the backburner.
Now, however, I finally got around to actually making the thing! It would have been impossible for me to
make it as awesome as it is without my girlfriend, so a lot of thanks and love goes to her!
If you are interested in and like my art, it would be very much appreciated if you took a look at my website.

You can find it at www.raedrob.com
I will update new artwork there as I make more stuff.

Thank you all for following me, you guys are amazing! :)

Just a quick blurb to let you know I got back home safely after EFNW.
Oh man, was it a fantastic weekend. I got to meet up with Temporal Walker, who's a really nice dude,
I did get to sell some prints and I managed to catch a couple of panels too.
One of the absolute best parts have to be Ponystock. I caught 10 hours of both acoustic and electronic performances.
After the whole thing I definitely want to attend more cons, as much as my wallet allows me to at least.

Another note, a lot of you guys probably don't know of my tumblr, I post random stuff over there.
The threshold is much lower than my dA, so some stupid stuff and WIPs will pop up there.
You can catch me here, raedrob.tumblr.com/

One last thing, coming August I'm moving out on my own and starting my degree in Virtual art and Design. So fancy.

Take care, I love you all =)

Howdy!

First off, I've got pretty much everything for Everfree Northwest sorted out.
The hotel room's reserved, flight tickets are paid for, and I've found someone willing to share their vending table.
All I have to do now is some reassuring regarding bringing prints to the states and actually making some of the prints/
editing some of the "finished" ones. It's going to be a hell of a time!

Second, I'll try out opening for commissions. I'll put up a link to the info below.
Keep in mind that the examples in the info are pretty outdated, as I've not done much
linework recently. If you want some kind of better look at what to expect from a commission, take a quick look at my gallery.
Commissions may be slightly rougher than the paintings I've uploaded recently, but stay assured that I'm not going to rush through
commissions for the sake of finishing them. I'm content when you are content, and wouldn't want to rush and do a poor job.
Without further ado, the commission info: dl.dropbox.com/u/46374402/Comm…

Thank you all for the attention I'm getting, it's really mind boggling that so many of you are following me!

Edit: I just updated the commission information, as I'd rather do all commissions as paintings.

Hey, everyone!

I've never written a journal here before, so here goes.
I should really have made a journal post earlier, to thank everyone who
have supported and helped me get to this point. Now that I actually have
something I feel is worth saying, I'll add in a paragraph to thank you guys aswell.
At the end of the journal I'll make an announcement and ask you guys for some help.

First off I want to give my biggest thanks to each and every one of you.
Thanks for all the comments you give me, just the fact that so many of you view my art is flattering.
It's been over a year since I got into drawing now, and almost a year since I started drawing with a tablet.
During that time I've improved much more than I'd ever hoped for, and you guys were a big help keeping me motivated.
There have been both ups and downs, but There's undoubtedly more of the ups. Once I got into drawing and painting
digitally, I also started to pay more attention to the different art styles other artists I look up to had. Many of them have
been a huge inspiration to me. The funny thing is that I may not remember the actual name of all those artists, but I'd recognize
their art due to their distinctive styles. I'm also amazed by how many actually have me on their Watch list. Personally I'm pretty
strict with who I follow, as I don't want to drown in messages (which I already am, ironically). If I apply my own logic to everyone
here, it's a pretty big deal that almost 200 people like my art enough to have me on their watch list. One last time, thank you!

Now, on to the announcement. A while ago I decided that I'm going to attend Everfree Northwest, the upcoming convention
in Seattle. It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll attend, but I'd love to go there as an artist aswell. The plan was to get myself a
dealer's table there, but I've come to find out it's pretty hard for me to get one. I need a temporary business license, but I'm
unable to get one because of my geographical location. Not only do I live outside Washington state, I live in Norway.
I've contacted the EFNW staff, and they said I had two options. Either, I use the address of a friend living in Washington,
to be able to get this business license, or I share a table with another vendor (I was told this would work, as technically you
only need one license per table). What I'm asking is pretty much: do anyone know a vendor that'll attend EFNW and be willing
to share their table with a fellow artist? Maybe you're going as a vendor yourself? Any response at all would be much appreciated,
so feel free to let me know in the comments, or reach me through a note.

Have a good one, y'all!
